Below are some of the questions we are asked on a regular basis by our guests.

When is the park open?
Hollybrook Lodges is open 12 months of the year.
Can I charge my electric/hybrid vehicle at Hollybrook?
Currently no. But we are hoping to install a charge point in the near future. Nearest charge points are York Clifton Moor or Thirsk.
Do you have free Wi-fi?
A reasonable Wi-fi signal is available at all points on the park.
What time is check-in?
Check in time is 4.30pm till 9pm, for a later check-in please contact us. A limited number of early check-ins are possible at a small charge, please contact us to arrange.
What time is check-out?
Check out time is any time up to 9.30 am on the day of your departure. Late check-ins are sometimes possible at a small charge.
What do you provide in the Lodges?
We provide a Complimentary Welcome Pack. Also we provide a large and a small towel per person, a hair dryer, complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner. and toilet rolls.
Is the kitchen well equipped?
Each kitchen has a microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, gas hob and electric oven. In addition there is a good selection of pots, pans and utensils. A tea towel and dishcloth are also provided.
Will we be able to have a BBQ?
Yes, on the flagged patio if your lodge has such, or on the grass. We do not provide a BBQ so you will need to bring your own or use disposable BBQs.
BBQs of any type are strictly forbidden on any of the wooden decking. We can provide a stand for disposable BBQs, just ask.
What do we need to bring?
We recommend that you bring flip flops or similar footwear for walking out to the hot tub. Wellies or walking boots would be a good idea in winter if you intend to do any walking - the lane down to the lodges can get quite muddy.
What is available to hire?
Robes (useful for going in and out of the hot tub), travel cots and high chairs. An extra TV set for e.g. gaming.
Can we bring our dog?
Sorry, no. We are a non pet site.
Can I book at Hollybrook Lodges for my stag/hen party?
Hollybrook is a quiet, relaxing place. We do not take bookings for stag or hen parties or for all male/all female groups, or multiple lodge bookings.
Do we need a car?
Hollybrook is a 20 minute walk away from Easingwold town. However, a car is recommended in order to explore the region thoroughly.
How far away is the nearest town?
The market town of Easingwold is just 1 mile away with shops, Post Office, banks, cafes and pubs.
Where is the closest takeaway?
There is a fish and chip shop, 1 Indian, 2 Chinese and 2 pizza and kebab takeaways in Easingwold. (The Indian and pizza takeaways will deliver).
Where is the closest Supermarket?
There are 3 supermarkets in Easingwold. The Co-Operative supermarket is 3/4 mile away on Long Street, with another branch in the Market Square. There is also a Costcutter supermarket on Long Street. A Tesco superstore is a 15 min drive away at Clifton Moor on the edge of York.
Where is the Local Tourist Information Office?
In the Market Square, Easingwold, opposite Towlers Newsagents.
Can I catch a bus into York?
Yes, the Bus No. 31X goes into York regularly.
There are 3 pick up points, one near the football training ground, another opposite the Co-Operative supermarket on Long Street, and the last in the Market Square, Easingwold. You can leave your car on the market square for free, for as long as you wish.
How far away are the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough?
Both are between 45 min and 1 hr drive in the car, from Hollybrook Lodges. They are well known for their fish and chips, candy floss, and sandy beaches. Other beautiful seaside resorts include Runswick Bay, Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay - all around a similar distance.
